Class of 1966 Scholarship This year, Thanhbinh Le '10,
from Orange, CA,
a freshman in the College of Engineering, will be receiving support from the Cornell Class of 1966. EVER WONDER WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR
DONATIONS We have often been lax in letting you know news of our
Class of 1966 Scholarship Recipients.
Because of your gifts, ongoing and at the time of our 35th Reunion, the
'66 Scholarship fund now totals $59,642, with an estimated $2,810 available
this year to assist Cornell students.
The Becker Fund has already earned an estimated $9,451 available to students for programming. Over the years, we have financially assisted eight undergraduates, with our support totaling $20,153, as they achieved their Cornell degrees. And, of course, '66 beebe beach continues to welcome undergraduates and alumni as a glorious respite from the hectic life that is Cornell. Indeed, together, we have made a difference. Wonderfully so! Scholarship recipient Felicia Daniels '07 writes: Hello! I cannot believe it is my junior year already, but here I am. The time sneaks past when your mind is occupied with a book I suppose. I am currently very busy with papers and studying for tests. The first
I'm heavily involved in many extracurriculars, more than previous semesters, as well. I have a hand in Relay for Life as Co-Chair of the Logistics and Planning Committee for the event (to be held in April), I write for a recently established newspaper, and I am President of my sororities chapter of GlamourGals (a philanthropy founded by a Cornell Alum, Rachel Doyle '05). I just had an interview with the Meinig Family National Scholars Executive Board a few days ago, so I might be adding Publicity Coordinator to the frenzy of titles and schedule fillers. Despite the packed days, I am having the time of my life. I hope all is well for everyone, and I look forward to meeting with you soon. Best! Felicia C.
